The Network Engineer IV - Headquarters Network role is an onsite position based in Tempe, AZ. Compensation is not specified for this role, which supports the HQ Network team at Edward Jones, a Fortune 500 financial services firm. This role exists to design, implement, and support critical network infrastructure. The engineer will provide technical leadership and contribute to the stability, scalability, and automation of the firm's network backbone.

What you'll do

• Design, evaluate, test, and implement solutions across the team's core technology platforms, including Cisco Nexus, VMware NSX, AVI Load Balancing, F5 GSLB/LTM, and Infoblox DDI.
• Lead major infrastructure deployments, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Ensure network services meet operational requirements for availability, scalability, performance, security, monitoring, automation, and supportability.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and standardize infrastructure management.
• Partner with architecture, engineering, security, and operations teams to develop resilient and scalable network solutions.
• Troubleshoot and lead resolution efforts for complex network and application delivery issues.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for critical incidents and platform-related challenges.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and architectural standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across network infrastructure initiatives.
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate new technologies, address operational issues, and influence product roadmaps where applicable.
• Provide recommendations to leadership regarding technology strategy, platform lifecycle planning, and operational improvements.
