This role requires proficiency in respiratory assessment and treatment, contributing to patient care within established protocols.

What you'll do

• Performs respiratory therapeutics including oxygen administration and weaning, aerosol and humidity therapy, IPPB, Incentive Spirometry, airway maintenance, bronchial hygiene, chest physiotherapy, CPR, and mechanical ventilation.
• Performs and reports cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, pulmonary function studies, and electrocardiograms.
• Prepares treatment evaluations, performs bedside respiratory physical assessments, patient interviews, and reviews medical records.
• Assembles, checks, operates, and troubleshoots cardiopulmonary equipment.
• Participates in infection control, safety, and quality assurance tasks.
• Performs required cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
• Utilizes appropriate customer scripting.
• Performs other job duties as required.
