What you'll do

• Follow supervisor or crew-foreman instructions and safety standards
• move, secure, install, build, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• weld and fabricate repairs and project components
• repair and install mechanical equipment parts
• read schematics and manuals for repairs when needed
• use stick welding and oxy/acetylene torches safely
• use hand and power tools safely
• clean and prepare job sites
• assist skilled tradespeople.
