Security Officer – Building Patrol

The Security Officer – Building Patrol role is onsite in Utica, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pay is $18.50 per hour. Allied Universal provides security and facility services; this assignment is in a healthcare setting. The officer patrols facility areas, monitors access and visitor activity, and responds to security concerns while providing professional service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors. Accurate reporting and calm response help support a safe and welcoming environment.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service while following site procedures and emergency response activities
• respond professionally to incidents and medical or behavioral health-related concerns
• conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations
• monitor access points and visitor activity
• direct individuals as needed
• document incidents, observations, and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to site leadership or emergency responders.
