What you'll do

• Clean resident rooms and common areas
• sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces
• clean and disinfect bathrooms and showers
• remove and dispose of trash
• handle soiled linens according to facility procedures
• assist with laundry as needed
• maintain housekeeping equipment and organized storage areas
• help set up dining, activity, and living areas
• follow infection-control, universal-precaution, handwashing, and sanitation procedures
• report equipment issues, supply needs, incidents, and resident observations to a supervisor.
