Job overview

The Cook role is onsite in Youngstown, OH. Pay is $16.50 per hour. The cook prepares meals for Community Corrections Association residents and coworkers and oversees residents assigned as kitchen helpers.

What you'll do

• Prepare meals in large batches according to approved menus and recipes
• follow prescribed and special dietary requirements, including religious diets
• prepare and pack meals and lunches
• supervise residents cleaning kitchen facilities and equipment
• maintain kitchen security and sanitation
• record inventory usage and food, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher temperatures
• clean and organize kitchen areas
• serve meals at designated times
• follow health and sanitation codes.
