What you'll do

  • Supervise and mentor high school seniors.
  • Teach and role-model life skills including self-responsibility, goal setting, time management, personal finance, and healthy relationships.
  • Create and supervise developmental and recreational activities.
  • Accompany students to Sunday chapel services.
  • Collaborate with staff to continually enhance the program.
  • Provide coverage in student homes as needed.

What we're looking for

Education
Bachelor's degree
Experience
Bachelor’s degree required. Valid driver’s license in good standing; ability to become certified to drive a 9-passenger van. Experience mentoring, teaching, or coaching youth. Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to proactively problem-solve, influence, and collaborate. Strong organizational skills, while also maintaining a high degree of flexibility. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google applications, and social media platforms. Must demonstrate integrity and professionalism—MHS staff serve as role models for students.
