Field Roof Inspector

The Field Roof Inspector role is onsite in Richmond, VA. Compensation is $32–$40 per hour. Hancock Claims Consultants provides ladder-assist and property inspection services to insurance agencies for claims management. The inspector assesses roofs and property conditions to help document damage and support claims resolution. The work includes inspecting steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage, and conducting underwriting property inspections, using technology to help assess damage and prevent further harm until permanent repairs are completed.

Why this role

Independent contractor position. A reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of carrying a 32-foot ladder and a Lidar-equipped device, or the ability to obtain one, are required. Roofing, construction, or insurance claims experience is a plus but not required; HAAG certification is a plus.
