The Outreach & Engagement Specialist 2 role is onsite in Seattle, WA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $34 per hour. The Salvation Army’s mission includes meeting human needs without discrimination. The specialist conducts outreach to unsheltered people in King County and provides housing-focused case management, referrals, advocacy, and coordination with community agencies. The role also maintains client records and reports to support service delivery and stakeholder requirements.

What you'll do

• Seek out clients living unsheltered in the service territory
• maintain contact during housing assessment and readiness planning
• provide housing assistance, resource referrals, and advocacy with apartment managers
• connect clients to community resources
• provide case management and coordinate with agencies serving mental health, employment, substance use, vocational rehabilitation, and developmental disability needs
• maintain client records in WellSky and HMIS
• track and report data
• participate in meetings and training.
