The machinist sets up and operates Citizen Swiss machines, verifies first articles, and inspects precision parts to maintain quality and production flow. The role contributes to reliable motion-control components through accurate machining, troubleshooting, and complete production records.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate Citizen Swiss machines
• load bar stock, tooling, and verify programs
• machine complex parts to ±0.001 inch or tighter
• perform drilling, grooving, turning, threading, and finishing
• verify first-article repeatability
• make minor G-code or CAM edits as needed
• flag manufacturability issues
• troubleshoot machining problems
• adjust offsets, feeds, and speeds
• maintain tooling
• read blueprints and GD&T
• inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges
• complete setup sheets and inspection records to AS9100 standards
• communicate handoffs and improvement ideas.
