Manual Machinist

The Manual Machinist role is onsite in Stow, OH. Compensation is $25–$36 per hour. The machinist supports production by setting up and operating equipment to make precise metallic components to drawings and specifications.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and adjust conventional and special-purpose machines
• interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications
• prepare and position materials, fixtures, and cutting tools
• set machining controls
• monitor operations and correct issues
• verify settings and dimensions with measuring instruments
• maintain safe operations and perform preventive equipment maintenance. The role may develop specifications or sketches and may confer with engineering or production staff to resolve problems.
