What you'll do

• Review service requests and clarify requirements
• quote spare parts, consumables, field service, and small custom projects
• estimate shop labor and material costs
• work with controls programmers to define field-service scope and labor
• visit customer plants as needed
• prepare and deliver quotes through the ERP system
• release won service orders to Purchasing, Production, and Engineering
• support senior Application Engineers with concepts, estimates, and proposals when service workload allows.

Why this role

Requires three or more years of quoting or estimating experience in manufacturing, machining, or automation, plus experience estimating labor and material costs for machined or fabricated parts. Mechanical design experience, including SolidWorks concept modeling, is preferred. Occasional travel to customer facilities is noted.
