Desktop Technician – Tier 1 IT Support

The Desktop Technician – Tier 1 IT Support role is fully onsite, supporting Stream Data Centers’ Dallas and Frisco, Texas locations. The base pay range is $50,000–$55,000 per year. Stream develops and operates data center infrastructure, with a stated focus on sustainable, secure, and reliable services. The technician serves as a first point of contact for employee technology needs, resolving common incidents and service requests where possible and escalating more complex issues. The role also prepares and deploys devices, supports business applications and account access, and maintains accurate service and asset records.

What you'll do

• Provide Tier 1 support through approved channels
• record, prioritize, and update service tickets
• troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, network, printer, and peripheral issues
• prepare and deploy end-user devices
• assist with Intune enrollment and application installation
• support password resets and routine access issues
• complete onboarding and offboarding tasks
• escalate unresolved or security-sensitive issues
• maintain ticket notes, asset records, and knowledge articles
• follow security and service procedures.
