What you'll do

• Maintain the schedule and reference dates for MDS assessments
• ensure accurate and timely submission of case-mix, OBRA, and PDPM assessments
• conduct concurrent MDS reviews
• collaborate with facility staff on complete documentation and accurate coding
• communicate case-mix billing data to the Business Office
• provide staff education on MDS/HIPPS and state case-mix systems
• support accurate, resident-specific care plans.

Why this role

Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current RN or LPN licensure in the state of employment, one year of long-term care clinical nursing experience, and current BLS/CPR certification except in ALFs/ILFs. Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, MDS, clinical resource utilization, or case management experience is highly desirable.
