The Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager – ASME Welding role is onsite in Montgomery, AL, with support for shop operations and field projects in Jonesboro, AR. The posting states pay of $30–$40 per hour. The position begins part-time or as needed, with potential to develop into full-time employment based on workload and company growth. The manager implements and maintains D7 Pneumatics’ Quality Control Program and helps ensure fabrication and field work comply with approved procedures, project specifications, and applicable codes. The role coordinates inspections, documentation, testing, and corrective actions for ASME and National Board work.

What you'll do

• Administer the Quality Control Manual and procedures
• oversee shop fabrication and field installation quality
• review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• confirm applicable codes, inspection requirements, and testing procedures
• maintain ASME, National Board, and pressure-piping compliance
• coordinate with inspectors, clients, engineers, and inspection agencies
• verify welding procedures and maintain WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records
• monitor welder qualifications and material traceability
• maintain inspection records and weld documentation
• coordinate inspections, nondestructive examination, and pressure testing
• manage nonconformance and corrective actions
• maintain calibration records
• assist with audits
• train shop and field personnel on quality requirements.
