The Industrial Painter role is onsite in Spokane, WA, with compensation of $20–$27 per hour. WEMCO is a contract manufacturer of custom machinery and equipment, with capabilities including design, engineering, welding, machining, painting, assembly, testing, and installation. The painter prepares and coats products to customer specifications and quality standards, supporting the paint department’s production work. The role also verifies materials, performs inspections, maintains supplies and records, and safely moves materials using cranes and forklifts.

What you'll do

• Verify materials for traceability
• prepare surfaces and remove debris to specified standards
• complete work orders
• perform in-process inspections
• coordinate coating inspections with third-party NACE inspectors
• maintain paint supplies
• record conditions and coating times
• operate overhead bridge cranes and forklifts
• complete assigned daily tasks.
