Experienced Dementia Caregiver — Permanent Day Shift

The Experienced Dementia Caregiver role is an onsite, part-time position in Lyles, TN, paying $16–$20 per hour. Helping Hearts USA LLC provides in-home care and support to clients and their families. The caregiver provides active, hands-on support to an older male veteran on a consistent weekly schedule, helping address dementia and memory-related needs while supporting safety, daily living, and meaningful engagement. The role also contributes to continuity of care through accurate documentation and communication with the office.

What you'll do

• Provide dementia and memory-care supervision, reassurance, and gentle redirection
• assist with dressing, grooming, hygiene, bathing, toileting, and incontinence care
• support safe mobility and fall-prevention measures
• encourage conversation and appropriate activities
• complete light housekeeping and laundry
• document care electronically and report concerns or changes in condition to the office
• follow individualized care plans.

Why this role

Permanent recurring schedule of 16 hours weekly: Monday and Wednesday 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. and Thursday 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Additional hours and backup coverage may become available. Dementia and memory-care experience is strongly preferred; professional caregiving experience is required.
