What you'll do
- Provide medication-administration training for the Assisted Living Department in accordance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines
- conduct proxy caregiver training upon hire and annually
- observe and document medication aides’ medication passes quarterly
- complete competency checklists for medication aides and resident care aides upon hire and annually
- respond quickly to emergencies
- communicate with Health and Wellness Directors
- provide staff education and in-service meetings as needed
- manage licensed and non-licensed care staff as needed. Requires a bachelor’s degree in nursing, at least three years of nursing or direct resident-care experience, management experience, an active nursing license, and a valid driver’s license. Consistent business travel is required.
