Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager role is onsite in Sioux City, IA, and pays $50,000–$55,000 per year. IMKO is recruiting for a local meat manufacturing plant. The manager oversees accounting records and reporting to support the plant’s financial operations and regulatory compliance. The role prepares financial statements, budgets, and analyses; reconciles accounts; manages fixed assets and depreciation; and supports payroll, accounts payable, and other business processes.

What you'll do

• Post general-ledger adjustments
• prepare balance sheets, profit-and-loss and cash-flow reports
• prepare tax asset detail reports and analyses
• prepare depreciation and month-end reports for sales, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and production
• analyze sales, inventory, purchases, and payroll
• reconcile bank statements
• manage fixed assets and depreciation
• prepare the yearly budget and 1099 forms
• review records for the third-party accounting firm
• support shipping and receiving and payroll as needed
• process reimbursements and payments
• assist the Division President with projects and liability insurance information.

Why this role

Requires at least three years of QuickBooks experience; a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience, and three or more years of accounting or finance experience are preferred.
