The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Shelbyville, IN. Compensation is $28–$35 per hour based on experience. Radius Aerospace manufactures sheet metal parts and assemblies for commercial, military, regional jet, helicopter, and general aviation markets. The technician maintains specialized stretch-forming machines and related manufacturing equipment to support equipment uptime, operational efficiency, and safety. The role diagnoses and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues and helps keep production equipment calibrated and documented.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility and manufacturing equipment
• diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical malfunctions
• troubleshoot PLC controls and CNC interfaces
• service hydraulic systems
• repair or replace components
• calibrate and test machine axes and controls
• document maintenance, parts, and downtime in the CMMS
• follow OSHA, lockout/tagout, company safety, and aviation quality requirements.

Why this role
