What you'll do

• Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases
• treat foot and leg injuries, including fractures, corns, and calluses
• refer patients for foot and ankle surgery when necessary
• prescribe joint pain relief medication and foot orthoses
• advise patients on foot care and general wellness.
