The technician maintains accurate work orders and provides road call services to support the company's food distribution operations.

What you'll do

• Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units.
• Identify root causes of basic failures and perform repairs.
• Ensure equipment is roadworthy with required licensing.
• Document work orders in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Install and repair onboard computers.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes and lubrication.
• Use hand and power tools for repairs.
