Job overview

The Kitchen Member role is onsite in Delano, CA, with starting pay of $17–$18 per hour. Sunshine Cafe operates at the Kern Valley State Prison snack bar and seeks to provide guests with a warm environment and good service. The kitchen member prepares and cooks food, stocks stations and inventory, cleans dishes and work areas, and supports the kitchen team. The role contributes to guest service through food preparation and orderly kitchen operations.

What you'll do

• Set up and stock stations
• chop vegetables and prepare sauces and other food
• cook menu items with kitchen staff
