Project Accounting Manager

The manager joins Egis's finance team, supporting an engineering, consulting, and infrastructure organization whose projects include transportation, aviation, rail, transit, water, structural, and environmental solutions. The role strengthens project financial visibility and accounting operations through budgeting, forecasting, work-in-progress analysis, revenue recognition, reporting, and process improvement. It also supports the organization's transition to Oracle and percentage-of-completion accounting.

What you'll do

• Own project accounting processes, including project setup, financial controls, WIP analysis, revenue recognition, and reporting
• partner with project managers and department leaders to review performance and resolve financial issues
• strengthen budgeting, forecasting, and cost-to-complete projections
• guide leaders on financial practices
• support Oracle and percentage-of-completion accounting transition
• improve workflows and reporting
• partner with the Controller on month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue recognition
• prepare financial reports and KPIs
• guide AP/AR teams
• support cash flow, intercompany transactions, billing, audits, and FAR compliance.
