Senior Electromechanical Assembly Technician (Switchgear/Breakers)

The Senior Electromechanical Assembly Technician (Switchgear/Breakers) role is onsite in North Canton, OH. Pay is $24–$28 per hour. The position supports assembly of power distribution equipment. The technician assembles mechanical systems to engineering drawings and customer requirements, performs inspections and precision adjustments, and helps address engineering changes and quality risks. The role also provides hands-on leadership for ship preparation and supports teammate training and safe, orderly production.

What you'll do

• Assemble mechanical systems for power distribution equipment from engineering drawings and customer requirements
• select and use tools safely
• perform in-process and final inspections
• follow standard work and escalate quality risks
• support ship preparation and train teammates
• analyze engineering changes, determine root causes, and drive corrections
• track shortages and ship-loose items
• coordinate with QA/QC
• perform precision mechanical adjustments
• support safety practices and maintain an orderly work area.
