Field Service Technician II

Job overview

The Field Service Technician II role is onsite and field-based in Jacksonville, NC, with daily driving between customer locations in a company-provided vehicle. Pay is $21–$23 per hour. Compucom provides IT managed services and this technician supports a national home improvement retail client. The role exists to deliver hands-on technical support at customer sites, resolving IT and data-related issues and completing assigned projects. It contributes to reliable customer operations through troubleshooting, repairs, timely ticket closure, and clear documentation.

What you'll do

• Travel daily between customer locations in a company-owned vehicle
• troubleshoot and resolve IT and data-related issues
• document work, issues, and resolutions and close cases or tickets daily
• support POS systems, Lexmark printers, access points, and thin clients
• perform repairs involving computer hardware and networking as assigned
• maintain customer relationships and communicate with leadership and customers.

Why this role
