What you'll do

• Install, configure, maintain, repair, and upgrade computer software, hardware, and peripherals
• provide tier-one support for faculty, staff, and student devices
• troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues
• document troubleshooting and resolutions
• maintain help desk and equipment inventory records
• assess and plan for technology changes with user communities
• research and evaluate tools
• test and deploy upgrades
• contribute to team projects and documentation.

Why this role

The position is generally scheduled 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with some flexibility required. Required experience includes 1–3 years supporting desktop or laptop hardware, operating systems, and common applications, plus advanced Windows operating-system knowledge. MacOS experience and relevant degrees or certifications are preferred.
