Lead Stress Engineer

The Lead Stress Engineer is an onsite role based in Crawfordsville, IN, with a compensation range of $115,700 to $150,500 per year. This position supports the manufacturing of the T-7A Redhawk military trainer aircraft for the United States Air Force. The role exists to bridge the gap between engineering design and manufacturing production. The incumbent will perform structural analysis, manage non-conformance issues, and ensure that engineering intent is successfully implemented on the production floor.

What you'll do

• Perform static and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structures.
• Act as the primary liaison between design engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Review and disposition non-conforming conditions.
• Develop designs that meet program requirements for weight, cost, and quality.
• Provide real-time support to manufacturing and assembly teams to resolve production issues.
