Maintenance Technician Supervisor – Hotel

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician Supervisor role is onsite in Savannah, GA. Compensation is $23 per hour. The position maintains hotel systems, equipment, buildings, and common areas for Island Hospitality Management. The supervisor performs and coordinates repairs and preventive maintenance, trains other technicians, and works with the Chief Engineer and management team to keep hotel facilities safe and in good condition for guests and staff.

What you'll do

• Inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment
• train other technicians
• identify and correct safety hazards
• perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpet, and tile maintenance
• complete painting, minor roof repairs, and exterior projects
• repair pool and exercise room equipment if necessary
• participate in preventive maintenance
• monitor and replenish consumables
• coordinate technical projects with the Chief Engineer and management
• prepare shift reports
• respond to emergency situations on short notice
• report to the hotel in bad weather when required for exterior maintenance.
