Job overview
The Resident Care Aide / Medication Technician role is onsite in Pinellas County, FL. Pay is $16–$17.50 per hour. The role supports resident care alongside the Resident Care Supervisor and Assistant Administrator. The position exists to help protect residents’ safety and dignity while supporting daily care goals. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring and reporting resident needs or concerns, supporting meals and activities, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, and assisting with proper self-administration of medications.
What you'll do
- Review prior-shift entries
- report resident problems or illness
- support resident safety
- assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, escorts, and appointment reminders
- encourage activities
- assist with laundry, meals, and room cleaning
- orient new residents
- monitor and report resident needs and concerns
- complete observation reports and weight records
- answer phones as needed
- assist with proper self-administration of medications.
