Production Operator — Specialty Chemicals

The Production Operator role is onsite in Gulfport, MS, with compensation of $16–$20 per hour. Ambit Chemical Technologies manufactures specialty chemicals through toll blending and specialty manufacturing processes. The operator runs and monitors production equipment to convert raw materials into finished chemical products. The role supports safe, efficient, and quality production through equipment checks, accurate records, safe material handling, and collaboration on production issues and process improvements.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor forklifts, pumps, pressurized vessels, and other manufacturing equipment
• perform routine equipment checks and maintenance
• handle raw materials and finished products according to safety procedures
• record production, maintenance, and safety data
• work with the production team to resolve issues and improve efficiency and quality
• participate in safety meetings and training.
