Paratransit Driver — Part-Time

Job overview

The Paratransit Driver position is onsite in Bozeman, MT, approximately 10 hours per week, generally on day shifts; some evening and weekend availability is a plus. Pay is $24.00 per hour. HRDC’s Galavan service transports seniors and individuals with disabilities. The driver safely transports riders, assists with boarding and securement, and maintains the vehicle and required records. The work supports accessible transportation while treating riders with respect and patience.

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver riders as directed
• assist riders with boarding and exiting
• secure passengers and mobility devices
• operate paratransit buses, vans, wheelchair lifts, and radios
• report incidents
• inspect, clean, fuel, and monitor vehicle condition
• report deficiencies and maintenance needs
• tally riders and donations and maintain mileage logs
• attend organizational meetings and training when available.

Why this role
