Medical Payment Poster

The Medical Payment Poster role is onsite in Conroe, TX, with compensation of $19–$21 per hour and a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule. The role supports Agile Occupational Medicine’s revenue cycle for workers’ compensation claims and employer-based healthcare services. The position exists to ensure payments are posted accurately and promptly, discrepancies are resolved, and claim documentation is maintained. It works with claims administrators, adjusters, employers, and internal billing and collections teams to support reliable account records and payment processing.

What you'll do

• Post payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts in billing and EMR systems
• obtain and maintain Explanation of Review documentation, proof of payment, and remittance records
• reconcile insurance payments and identify discrepancies or underpayments
• communicate with employers, insurers, third-party administrators, and adjusters
• document claim and payment activity
• maintain correspondence records
• collaborate on payment-posting accuracy and efficiency
• comply with HIPAA and applicable regulations.
