What you'll do
- Inspect parts before and after processing for imperfections
- deburr, tumble, heat treat, wash, and sandblast parts
- monitor and maintain equipment
- clean the department and follow 5S guidelines
- troubleshoot metal preparation issues
- collect process-control measurements and data
- follow safety procedures, chemical-handling requirements, and PPE rules
- assist with other metal preparation and finishing duties as needed.
