What you'll do

• Control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
• Patrol of buildings and perimeters.
• Logging of visitors and vehicles.
• Escort of material and personnel.
• Inspection of security and fire exposures.
• Report for duty on time and in full uniform.
• Maintain professional image.
• Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Verify employee credentials.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Answer telephone calls and maintain log books.
• Monitor cameras or equipment.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies and procedures.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Book entries, Incident Reports.
• Make recommendations to management on safety and loss prevention processes.
