Facilities Maintenance Estimator

Job overview

The Facilities Maintenance Estimator role is onsite in Columbus, OH, and pays $120,000–$135,000 per year. The estimator supports Leo Facilities Maintenance projects and partners with Business Development and Project Management to help win profitable work and prepare projects for execution. The role develops cost estimates and bid packages from initial quantity take-offs through proposal submission. It also supports pricing strategy, vendor and subcontractor coordination, and a smooth transition from bid to project delivery.

What you'll do

• Review bid documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes
• develop quantity take-offs and cost estimates
• solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• prepare and submit proposals and bid packages
• support RFP/RFQ responses and site walks
• participate in project turnover
• maintain historical cost data
• track win/loss rates
• qualify vendors and negotiate pricing and scope.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and 3–5 years of estimating experience. Estimating software and Microsoft Excel proficiency are required.
