The Human Resources & Payroll Assistant role is full-time and onsite in Brea, CA. Compensation is $24–$28 USD per hour. The position supports Ride Aventon’s Human Resources team and day-to-day headquarters operations. The assistant helps maintain organized, compliant HR and payroll operations and supports the employee lifecycle. What you'll do

• Support HR, payroll, compliance, and office operations
• coordinate onboarding and maintain personnel records
• process employee status changes
• review time and attendance records
• assist with payroll preparation, audits, and reporting
• respond to employee inquiries
• track leaves and workers’ compensation documentation
• maintain safety and compliance records
• support recruiting and employee engagement activities
• serve as a corporate office contact
• coordinate supplies, mail, shipments, meetings, and events
• handle confidential information appropriately.
