The Head Cook works onsite at the Apache location in Anchorage, AK, on a rotational schedule of four weeks on and two weeks off; days and hours may vary. Pay is $25.00 per hour. ESS provides food and facility support services for clients at offshore and remote land sites. The role prepares nutritious, properly flavored food in line with recipes and applicable standards, supporting daily food service for resident workers. It also helps maintain safe food handling, organized storage, accurate production records, and kitchen team readiness.

What you'll do

• Prepare entrees and menu items using established recipes
• operate and clean equipment
• store, label, and date food
• maintain organized dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage
• follow HACCP and sanitation requirements
• assist with production records and required documentation
• cross-train employees
• may oversee food service associates as assigned.
