What you'll do

• Empower students by teaching an inclusive, culturally responsive curriculum.
• Guide students to analyze literary and non-narrative texts, assess author's purpose, write in various genres, and engage in discourse.
• Create an inclusive and safe environment for authentic voice.
• Guide students in choosing books independently.
• Meet weekly with principal/coach to analyze student work.
• Learn and implement strategies to differentiate instruction.
• Build positive relationships with students and partner with families.
• Engage in professional development and coaching.
• Participate in school-wide meetings.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree.

Experience

1-2 years experience preferred.
