What you'll do

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• prepare cost estimates for laminated products, casework, countertops, and related materials
• perform quantity takeoffs and assess labor, materials, hardware, and installation
• solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
• prepare quotations, bids, and proposals
• collaborate with sales, project management, engineering, and production
• identify cost-saving and value-engineering options
• maintain estimating records and pricing databases
• participate in project handoff meetings.
