Machine Operator — Paper Bag Production

Job overview

The Machine Operator role is onsite in Florence, KY, with available 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.; the posting also requires rotating day and night shifts. Starting pay is $21.20 per hour. The operator works under the Production Supervisor and designated Shift Leads to produce printed and functional paper bags to quality specifications. The role operates and sets up bag-line equipment, monitors production quality, troubleshoots stoppages, and completes production documentation. It contributes to safe, efficient production while following food-safety and good manufacturing practices.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate bag machines and support equipment
• read and verify line orders and dockets
• follow printing specifications
• load paper and adjust the line for bag size
• mount cylinders and adjust pressure, tension, and ink distribution
• troubleshoot stoppages and breakdowns
• perform quality checks and complete related documentation
• follow food-safety and GMP requirements
• complete daily production paperwork
• maintain a clean and safe work area.
