What you'll do

• Prepare and cook standard menu items, including sauces, soups, stocks, meats, fish, and poultry
• prepare food according to hotel recipes and quality standards
• taste food and inspect ingredients
• inventory and requisition produce and dry goods
• store and label food appropriately
• set up and replenish buffets and run the omelette station
• maintain clean, properly functioning equipment and work areas
• assist with training or supervision of other cooks.
