Lead HVAC Service Technician

The Lead HVAC Service Technician is an onsite field role in Saint Louis, MO, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $45–$60 per hour, depending on experience. The role supports Vitt Heating and Air Conditioning’s residential service department. The technician combines advanced residential HVAC diagnostics and repairs with coaching and field support for other technicians. The role contributes to safe, high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and improved department processes.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
• support technicians with difficult troubleshooting and technical questions
• coach and train newer technicians in the field
• promote safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
• improve departmental processes and efficiency
• complete service documentation
• collaborate with the Service Manager on scheduling priorities and training needs
• help implement service procedures and best practices.

Why this role
