Applications Engineer

What you'll do

• Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, and scope documents for fire and security system projects
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment for alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and other low-voltage installations
• Conduct take-offs and identify potential value-engineering alternatives
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to source competitive pricing
• Develop bid proposals
• Partner with sales and project management teams
• Maintain an up-to-date pricing database
• Keep current with industry codes and technology advancements.
