Behavioral Health Technician

Job overview

The Behavioral Health Technician role is onsite in Prescott Valley, AZ, with base pay of $18.50–$20.30 plus a $2–$3 shift differential. Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center provides residential, trauma-informed behavioral health treatment for adolescents. The technician supervises and supports clients in a structured residential program, helping maintain safety, carry out scheduled activities, document progress, and support clients’ daily goals and treatment plans.

What you'll do

• Plan and carry out scheduled groups with the Dorm Supervisor
• meet with assigned primary clients at least weekly
• help clients set daily goals
• document client care and maintain clinical charts
• supervise clients under agency protocols
• support scheduled activities
• maintain safety and order
• complete records and incident reports as applicable
• use trained trauma-informed interventions
• may transport clients in center vehicles
• administer medications to self-medicating clients when qualified
• follow HIPAA requirements.
