Membership Accountant — Accounts Receivable

The Membership Accountant role is onsite in Truckee, CA. Pay is $35–$40 per hour. The position supports Martis Camp Club’s member experience through accounts receivable and broader accounting work at its private community. The accountant manages membership receivables, statements, payments, and account inquiries while supporting month-end close, tax reporting, and reconciliations. Accurate and responsive financial administration helps members receive timely service and supports the club’s operations.

What you'll do

• Manage membership receivables and issue monthly statements by the fourth business day
• communicate with members and follow collection procedures
• bill, reconcile, and recognize dues and assessments
• post ACH and card settlements, payments, POS journals, wire transfers, and other member charges
• support month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, tax payments and returns, bank reconciliations, and administrative tasks.

Why this role

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional scheduled overtime during peak periods. A bachelor’s degree and two years of accounting experience, or three or more years of progressively responsible accounting experience, are preferred.
