Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift role is onsite in East Saint Louis, IL. Compensation is $37.08–$55.62 per hour. The role supports emergency department patient care at TOUCHETTE. The RN uses the nursing process to assess patients, develop and evaluate care plans, coordinate treatment, and support patient flow. The position also requires emergency triage, medication management, accurate documentation, and communication with patients, families, and community first responders.

What you'll do

• Assess and reassess patient conditions
• develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care
• collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• administer and reconcile medications
• document care and responses in the EHR
• delegate appropriately
• triage using the ESI algorithm
• manage sexual assault victim care and evidence
• facilitate patient flow
• communicate with EMS
• support hospital codes
• manage behavioral health crises and transfers under EMTALA guidelines.
