The Senior Metal Fabrication Mechanic — Heavy Components role is onsite in Newington, NH. Pay is $38.67–$40.51 per hour. The position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor. The mechanic fabricates and prepares large metal components to engineering requirements, using drawings, welding processes, cutting, grinding, and testing. The role contributes to production by creating precision assemblies and preparing finished goods for shipment.

What you'll do

• Fit and weld components to blueprints
• perform internal seam welding
• grind welds and prepare surfaces
• set up and oversee automated welding
• deburr and assemble metal conduit and instrument panel housings
• lay out cylinders, plate, and cones
• operate overhead lifting equipment
• perform testing
• prepare finished goods for shipment.
