Staff Accountant — Finance

The Staff Accountant works onsite in Seabeck, WA. Compensation is $32–$37 per hour, depending on experience. SAFE Boats says its work helps provide first responders and the military with tools they need to save lives. The accountant handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and month-end close support. Accurate financial records and timely reporting help the Finance Department support business operations and financial decisions.

What you'll do

• Process vendor invoices and payments
• maintain vendor files and resolve discrepancies
• process customer invoices and track receivables
• reconcile employee expenses and accounts
• record and analyze financial information
• prepare journal entries and reconciliations
• assist with month-end close and audits
• maintain financial reports and support other Finance Department work.
