The Journeyman Meter Technician role is onsite in Marana, AZ, with an hourly wage of $54.01–$56.85. Trico Electric Cooperative provides cost-effective and sustainable energy solutions to members in southern Arizona. The technician maintains, installs, removes, tests, calibrates, and repairs metering equipment and related communications systems. The role supports accurate billing, reliable utility service, renewable-energy interconnections, and member inquiries, while also assisting with apprentice development as needed.

What you'll do

• Operate, maintain, install, remove, test, calibrate, and repair single- and polyphase meters and related equipment
• install and wire meter bases and instrument transformers
• maintain AMI equipment and communications systems
• enter meter and billing records
• troubleshoot equipment
• conduct field testing
• inspect renewable-energy interconnections
• assist with apprentice training
• and maintain service entrance specifications.
